Awareness Through Movement® is a transformative practice within the human potential movement. In this class, you’ll learn to engage your whole self--your nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves), along with your muscles, fascia, and skeleton--in harmonious, focused movement.
Through gentle, guided lessons, you can improve your breathing, increase your range of motion with greater ease, and reorganize patterns shaped by injury or habitual posture. This work also enhances athletic skill and efficiency in a supportive, non-competitive environment--helping you feel more comfortable and confident in your body.
No special clothing or prior experience is required. Each week, Margot, certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, teaches a different lesson from the hundreds created by Moshe Feldenkrais. As you expand the ways you move, you’ll also enrich the way you live.
