Sharayah M.

Sharayah was introduced to yoga at age 7 by her mom and practiced intermittently in childhood. Growing up with a Waldorf education, she was immersed in nature, art, movement, and music as a way of life. She began performing as a singer/songwriter and recording music at a young age. Nature is her place of worship, and she spends much of her time outside, both in movement and in stillness.

In the throes of a battle with depression and C-PTSD, Sharayah rediscovered yoga as a young adult. Meditation and movement, including long-distance trail running, became her saving grace. She completed her 200-hour YTT in 2023 and instantly fell in love with teaching. Sharayah is most fulfilled not by helping her students learn postures, but by guiding them to stillness. It is in this space that she’s found the most healing and the deepest sense of connection. It is Sharayah’s joyful purpose to offer an open-hearted and loving spirit to each of her students at Coast Yoga + Movement, and she plans to teach for the rest of her life.

Sharayah’s work in education and healthcare led her to Southeast Asia and East Africa, respectively. She was guided to deepen her meditation practice in Thailand, where she completed silent Vipassanā retreats first in 2018 and again in 2023. She recently returned to school to complete her bachelor’s degree in psychology and will soon integrate yoga and meditation, health & wellness coaching, and ecotherapy into her work as a guide and mentor. She is particularly passionate about working with young women and girls, helping them to find a home in their bodies and nurture their connection to Earth and Spirit.

Sharayah is blessed to share her life with her partner Aram and two stepsons, and is thankful to call Los Osos her home.

Jayelin L.

Jayelin completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in May of 2024 after she reconnected with yoga alongside coaching beach volleyball in Boise, Idaho. Yoga and functional movement have always been something Jayelin has felt passionate and curious about as she grew up surrounded by athletics for most of her life. Learning more about the intricacies of conscious movement has made her fall in love with yoga and in helping others find a closer connection to their body. For Jayelin, exploring strength, mobility, and balance, as well as fostering energy and self-compassion has been the biggest gift and support.

With the goal of living authentically, she does her best to show up each day with a listening heart and an awareness to meet each individual where they are. She enjoys spending her time outdoors and with the people she loves, and dedicates the rest of her time and energy into her business coaching kids beach volleyball.

Aram C.

Dr. Aram is rooted in the understanding that a balanced body heals itself spontaneously and completely by its own innate and natural intelligence.

He has been blessed to serve as a chiropractor for 19 years. His unique approach is informed by Sacro-Occipital and Diversified techniques as well as Chiropractic Biophysics. His is a truly holistic approach involving multiple body systems. He continues to immerse himself in study––for the past several years primarily in movement and fascia system. Most recently, in the last few years, his practice has evolved to include the spiritual, psychological, and emotional bodies, as his own awakening has impressed that imperative.

He has loved taking on the role as a strength and mobility instructor at Coast Yoga + Movement, and is currently in the process of completing his 200hr Yoga Teacher Training.

Dr. Aram pursued an undergraduate degree in Food Science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and his strong interest in nutrition and sustainable agriculture informs his approach today. After four years working in the nutritional supplement and homeopathic remedy business, the original vision of a career in chiropractic called him back. He achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in 2007.

He lives with his two sons and partner Sharayah in Los Osos where you will find him on the trails or on the water most days. He is proud to have Coast Wellness Center sponsor the SLO Gravel bike racing team and is looking forward to lining up with the squad for the 2026 season!

Meagan began her Pilates practice in 2005 while living in Santa Barbara, and has trained with some incredible STOTT teachers. She completed her teacher training with STOTT Pilates and also received her Advanced Teachings for Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Injuries/Special Populations. After working with Active Body Pilates, One on One Fitness, and as a NASM personal trainer, she brought her practice to her home studio while preparing for the birth of her two lovely children, Shyah and Dax.

Meagan then began full-time moming and even had the beautiful experience of homeschooling her children with a Waldorf and nature-based curriculum until the kids were 9 and 10. Since they now attend the Waldorf school in Los Osos, she is now getting back to what she is incredibly passionate about: Pilates, Yoga, Herbal Medicine and Holistic Health.

Meagan studied Holistic Health at The San Diego School of Healing Arts and Herbal Medicine with The School Of The Sacred Wild. Most recently, she completed her 200-hour Sound Energy Yoga teaching certification at Let's Get Tuned in Morro Bay.

She has rarely missed a morning of her own personal Meditation and Mat Pilates practice in the last fifteen years. If she's not at a studio, or driving her kiddos around, you will find her in the Ocean, running, hiking, surfing, reading yoga literature, playing guitar and singing, or creating healing herbal medicines!

Margot S.

Margot has been a mover all her life. She is interested in the refinement of abilities and the capacity of each individual to transform themself. She guides you in your transformation – through life transitions, healing, and being more of yourself.

For 25 years she has taught somatic lessons – Feldenkrais and Qigong in health clubs, yoga studios, and hospitals. As a Reiki Master she has taught others to channel Reiki healing. A life-long learner, teacher, artist, and healer, Margot has worked deeply with individuals and taught classes, workshops, and retreats to groups in California, Rwanda, and New York City.

Margot’s movement background includes swimming, horseback riding, Aikido, T’ai Chi, dance, and ice-skating. Feldenkrais® was one of the practices that helped her heal from high impact injuries to her spine and subsequent deep internal illness.

We may learn from books, videos, and teachers, however, learning from oneself and one’s individual experience is unsurpassed in relevance and usefulness. Margot is honored to guide people in their awareness and experience of themselves.
